Private landlords in England are legally required to hold a valid Electrical Installation Condition Report. The inspection must be renewed every five years, or at the start of a new tenancy, and a copy must be provided to tenants within 28 days. Failure to comply carries significant financial penalties.
If defects are found.
C1 and C2 defects require remedial work within 28 days to maintain compliance. We quote for remedials before leaving the site, carry out the work, and re-test to issue a satisfactory report.
